Opposites Attract

If I am the melody, will you be my harmony?
If I sing the chorus, will you play the verse?
If I live in daylight, say greet me by steetlight.
Because opposite ends attract.

If I lay in grass, you float by on a cloud.
If I love the water, you evaporate me.
My year is the yin, and you are the yang.
But opposite ends attract.

I am the willow, and you are the rock.
I cry, and you hold me.
I am the girl, and you are the man.
So opposite ends attract.

Black Rose Ice

Two weeks floating under black rose ice
Chillingly dark
Shivers upon my flesh.
Parted lips inhale
The seductive scent of solitude.
Voluptuous imaginations
In the silence of the room
Where plum colored witches fly
And petals coat the sleeping magic.
Swollen eyes from falling tears
To close them and forget
Would be a luxery.
Here to weeks under black rose ice
Dreaming impossibilities
For endless years.
