Unmatched

When your body unmatches your soul
And you can't see behind your skin
You feel separate
Detached
And you don't fit in.
And you just can't get away
The price of man's first sin.
A disease that is humanity
I feel like a mistake
And always running blindly
I'll do whatever it takes.
To set free the spirit
And flee the flesh
The binding confines
That are doomed to death.

Mirror, Mirror

What do you do when you look in the mirror
And see someone who shouldn't be there?
Something foreign, alien
Unwelcome
Unwanted
To your unfocused eyes, just a blur
A shape in the glass
And you want to run away
But it follows you
And it's all anyone else can see
And it's with you forever
This something you don't want to be

UnTruth

Desperation, desecration
No one knows the truth
Darkness hiding somewhere deep
There's nothing I can do
Formed opinions, gossiped lies
Segregate me from the world
So I sit here all alone
No hope for going home

Separate

Words and people dart around me
Dark figure in the mist
Finding solace in the lonely
When nothing else makes sense.
Standing silent in the form
The body not my own
For I still seek a refuge
And a place to call my home.
